ARC specialises in the manufacturing and distribution of building materials. The company prides itself as being one of Jamaica’s most customers and market-oriented businesses. Our corporate culture is driven by the Company’s mission statement: To achieve our economic goals by deploying the company’s assets, philosophy and human resources, to become the leading manufacturer and distributor of building materials in Jamaica.

We not only remain committed to achieving this objective, but we are committed to attaining the long-term goal of being the leading manufacturer and distributor of building materials in the Caribbean and Latin American region. ARC was incorporated in Jamaica in 1996 as a Limited Liability Company, a small manufacturer of zinc sheeting with a staff complement of five (5).

In 1997, ARC acquired Jamaica Steel Reinforcement Company and augmented its manufacturing facilities to include nails, fabric construction, mesh, quarter wire and drawn wire.

ARC remains the leading manufacturer of nails and the sole manufacturer of binding wire in Jamaica and has effectively competed in this market segment against foreign imports.
