Dr. Patrick Roberts completed his training in general surgery at the University of the West Indies and a fellowship in surgical oncology and hepatobiliary surgery at the University of Toronto. Dr. Roberts is currently the only hepatobiliary specialist in Jamaica. He specializes in cancers of the skin, thyroid, breast, colon, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, stomach, colon, and the anus. He also performs all general surgical procedures such as cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, biopsies, treatment of hemorrhoids and upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopies.

Dr. Robertshas dedicated his practice to providing specialist services to the Jamaican population and operates according to his mantra of being affable, able, and available. Heputsthe well-being of his clients at the center of each consultation as he seeks to ensure that their needs are addressed appropriately in the most caring and empathetic manner possible. Each consultation is geared toward finding the most appropriate solution for the patient’s surgical problem.

A highly skilled and competent surgeon, Dr. Robertsutilises cutting edge surgical techniques and procedures, including minimally invasive procedures such as laparoscopic procedures, radiofrequency ablation of tumors and sentinel lymph node biopsy. Dr. Roberts takes a multidisciplinary approach to the management of every surgical case. He incorporates the assistance of highly-trained specialists (consultant anesthetist, radiologist, pathologist, medical oncologist, and radiation oncologist) to ensure that his patients receive the best surgical intervention possible.
