The Administrator-General’s Department (AGD) protects the interests of minors, beneficiaries, and creditors of the estates that the law requires the Administrator-General to administer.
The services offered by the AGD include property sale, property rental and property management, motor vehicle transfer, administration of estates, and investment of estate funds.
The Property Unit of the AGD focuses on optimising the net value of all properties it manages.
All maintenance, operating and daily property management activities are coordinated and executed by this Unit.
The rental income that is generated from an estate is used for property maintenance and improvements, insurance, payment of property taxes and also to assist in maintaining beneficiaries.
Estate properties that are monitored and maintained by the Agency are rented in order to generate income for the estate.
The Agency is also responsible for notifying the beneficiaries in writing once a property is contemplated for sale. This proposed sale notification is also required to gain the consent of all adult beneficiaries.
To learn more about the role of the Agency’s property management, property sale and property rental services, visit their website or give them a call.
