Established in 1987, Community Group Homes is a mental health facility that was founded with one thing in mind – the total well being of all who are placed in our care. Designed as a supportive community for those living with mental illness, we provide holistic care to our residents and seek to cater to the respective needs of our pediatric and adult patients alike. With our years of experience in the health-care industry, we recognize that patients who are living with mental illness often require long-term management, treatment and care. As such, we offer compassionate and comprehensive residential treatment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our team includes a visiting psychiatrist, onsite caregivers and other health professionals who work together to provide the most appropriate and effective level of care necessary for the progress and betterment of each patient and their particular circumstances. We provide counselling services, cognitive behaviour therapy and short and long-term recovery programs, as well as activities and other programs designed to keep the minds, bodies and spirits of our patients engaged. Through a community layout, our patients are given the opportunity to both learn and experience genuine interpersonal relationships, while developing the life skills essential to the improvement of their mental health.
