Medical Associates Hospital is a 50-bed private hospital strategically located at 18 Tangerine Place Kingston—the heart of the corporate area. Patients access our facilities from one of three entrances: Ruthven Road, Chelsea Avenue and Half Way Tree Road, our main entrance. Also, we are accessible to and from the Norman Manley International Airport.

In 1959, Dr J.T. Burrowes established the Medical Associates Hospital and Medical Center. Dr Burrowes’ vision was to create the most exceptional private health care facility in Jamaica. He sought to offer a wide range of medical services of the highest quality to our patients, with care, compassion and kindness.

Throughout the years, Medical Associates Hospital has gained a reputation for excellent nursing care, experienced and well-trained consultants, physicians and surgeons. We are also known for our innovation as we seek to forge new pathways in medicine.
