Mixed Martial Arts for Reform and Progression (MMARAP)

Using Mixed Martial Arts and education for bettering the lives of disabled and non-disabled individuals   This is MMARAP Our company is geared towards helping give young people a focus away from a life of crime and violence; we also have a strong focus on those with learning disabilities, the partially sighted, those with hearing impairments and amputees.   Programmes we run MMARAP runs two different programmes. The Super Tuesday sessions and the Funding Programme sessions. Our Super Tuesday sessions target everyone in the community. We have a women only session, kids session, a mixed session that is for adults of both genders, disabled, deaf, blind and non disabled and we have an intermediate session for anyone who wants to take their grappling skills further. These sessions are paid and continuous. The Funding Programme sessions are for everyone between the ages of 15 and 25 years old. Including disabled, deaf, blind and non disabled. These sessions happen for set periods of time according to the funding we receive. Jonathan Buffong CEO / FOUNDER Jonathan has a background as a semi-professional footballer as well as being an avid fan and participant in mixed martial arts for a number of years. With two young sons himself, Jonathan is more than aware of the importance of having nurturing and positive community projects for young people in today’s current climate.
